Who We Are

Who We Are

God wants to bring reconciliation to every area of your life.

We are a church where hurting, broken people can come and be loved back to health and wholeness.

We are a church where the miraculous power of God is evident in the life of His people.

We are a church leading people to reach their full potential and achieve their God-given dreams.

God Matters

We matter to God. He matters to us. Our top priority is hosting the Presence of God well.

You Matter

You matter to God. You matter to us. Being good hosts to our guests is our second highest priority.

We GATHER on Sunday mornings to: Fellowship, Worship, Respond to God’s Word, Anoint the sick, Give to the mission, Serve one another, Celebrate God’s goodness.

We SCATTER during the week to: Disciple others, Care for others, Reach others.

THE  BIBLE MATTERS — We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We believe it to be fully inspired by God in it’s authors, written under the direction of the Holy Spirit, that it is without error in the original manuscripts, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

THE FATHER MATTERS–We believe in God, the Father. He is infinite yet a personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the lives of men and women, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves every person who comes to him through Jesus Christ from sin and death.

JESUS MATTERS–We believe in Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary death that brings us atonement, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His perpetual intercession for His people, and His personal visible return to earth.

THE HOLY SPIRIT MATTERS–We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe He came from the Father to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and judgment. We believe He came to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is an ever-present helper, teacher, and guide.

SALVATION MATTERS–We believe that all men and women are sinners by nature and choice, and therefore, are under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated, born again and anew, by the Holy Spirit.

THE CHURCH MATTERS–We believe in the Church. We believe it is a universal, living spiritual body. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of this Body and every person who has been regenerated by faith in Jesus is a member of this Body. We believe in the local church that is made up of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of their faith, and associated connected together for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has given to the members of the local church the primary task of giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost world around us.

CHARACTER MATTERS–We believe that a Christian should live a life for the glory of God and the well being of his fellowmen. We believe the conduct of a Christian should be blameless before the world, that we should be faithful stewards of our possessions, and that we should seek to realize for ourselves and others the full measure of maturity in Christ.

THE ORDINANCES MATTER–We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water into the name of the Triune God. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

LIBERTY MATTERS–We believe that every person has direct relations with God and that they are responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. We believe that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority, therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from direction or patronage of the other.

UNITY MATTERS–We believe that local churches can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by co-operating with one another.

THE END MATTERS–We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy and delight of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked.
